Healthcare Career Center was established in 2009 in the City of Covina, CA and formerly known as Holy Spirit Healthcare Career Center. This school was envisioned by Dr. Avelina Sansano and family. In August 2013 HCC relocated in the City of Norwalk, CA. The revival of HCC came about in May 2015 with the joining of other doctors and nurses in its venture.

 

The school area is surrounded by residential and commercial establishments, shopping centers, schools, churches, hospitals, government offices, and a public library. The school building is modern and secured. There are ample parking spaces available for students and staff. Street parking is also available.

 

HCC currently has two classrooms; one for lectures and the other a skills laboratory. The instructional ratio is 1 instructor to 15 students. The skills laboratory is equipped with different medical apparatus intended for students to use and practice.

 

HCC currently offers the following programs: Nurse Assistant Training Program, Home Health Aide, and Medical Assistant. The school also offers Continuing Education Units for CNA, and CPR classes. CEU's that we offer is not accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). All classes are conducted in the English Language. All students are required to have a high school diploma or its equivalent or the passing of the California high school proficiency exam.
